LiqRep Metal

Our fast-curing epoxy resin liquid metal compound is particularly suitable for filling moulds or hairline cracks, sealing and filling cracks, holes and faulty drill holes, and filling blowholes or casting defects.

LiqRep Metal ensures excellent adhesion to metals such as steel, iron, cast iron, aluminium, copper and many others, as well as ceramics, concrete, wood and many plastics.

• Very hard and brittle bond typical of epoxy resin, with limited vibration tolerance.
• High strength (tensile and impact resistant).
• Gap filling capacity of up to 10 mm.
• Temperature resistance from -30 °C to +120 °C.
• Optimum processing temperature at +22 °C.
• Working time/pot life of 4–6 minutes.
• Fixture time: 10–12 minutes.
• Fully cured after 2–3 hours.
• Can be machined after curing (e.g. turned, milled, drilled, filed or reamed).
• Can be ground or sanded and painted over.
• Resistant to water, salt water, coolants, oil, and many chemicals.
• Not suitable for PP, PE or PTFE.

Curing takes place through the chemical reaction of the two constituents, resin and hardener.
